We at Apple Box Children’s Theater (ABCT) help young performers achieve the confidence they need to command the stage, and offer community driven-entertainment to our audience. We don't charge families anything for participating, and we ask audiences to give what they can, even if it's nothing.
But you and I know free isn't actually free.
A big part of our efforts involves writing grants, many of which ask us to match the funding we provide, which is where you come in.

Actors need to be HEARD, and so in 2023 we raised money for the production and durable goods like microphones.
And you delivered! We now have our own sound system which as made a BIG DIFFERENCE.
We also bought shoes for every actor's costume. Shoes were one of the few things we had to ask families to provide in the past, and now because of you, we can provide them as part of their costume!

ABCT performances and activities are generally FREE, though donations are always welcome. We have received a small operations grant each year, and many patrons do choose to donate at our performances. This revenue has, traditionally, been just enough to cover our operational expenses, but each year, the number of children participating in ABCT and the audience size has grown.
As our audiences and casts continue to grow, so do our costs. We had to upgrade our sound system to reach all our guests. We need to update many of our durable goods, expand the accessibility and inclusivity of our shows, and ensure that our kids and our audience (that's you) are getting the best experience possible.
We are funded by grants and donations, and we accept donations year-round!

Please note in the “Other designation” box that your gift is for "Apple Box Children's Theater."
Our goal is to raise $3,000 during this initial phase. Donations of any size are welcome. We suggest $20 or more to get started.
We can't do this without our patrons, family, and friends.
